Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Re: Where did you fly today?

Last run in January. 37 deg and hazy. Trucks and ice roads out on North Long lake (371 Bay) so landed there. Very little activity anywhere else due to the sketchy ice conditions this year.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Well, if I was going to the hanger to take photos of a sliding door, figured I should at least take Mrs burns to lunch. Headed to Raquette Lake and the one and only taproom.

That’s our rafting base between the struts. Couple miles from the strip.

Our road, we live about a mile up. Can’t quite see the house.

Eagle Nest, it’s one of the “great camps” of the Adirondacks. Now used as a writer’s retreat

This hanger was used by the family that owned the camp. They had several amphibious planes over the years

The town of Raquette Lake. The boat iced in does dinner cruises in the summer.

Dam work on Indian Lake. The dam was built in the late 1800’s and creates Indian Lake which is about 14 miles long.

My customer Wolf's back in Europe, so I got to exercise his Super 170B today. No snow here... but a nice flying day around Cape Cod.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Lakes are already starting to open up! Earliest I've ever experienced. Perfect day for lakes patrol.

If the wind changes this guy's dock is toast. Might have been too eager to get the boats in the water...

That was a fun day.. it was good meeting you Aqua. I think that’s the only video/photo that got all the airplanes.
