While aviation has made the world a smaller place, if you fall, it's still hard to miss!

Bad time to sell a plane but a real good time to buy a house.

Got a nice little Stinson across the river in Vancouver that will let you fly her if the need arises.I did the wife, kids, house thing before the plane. It was tough doing the responsible thing and all the time looking up in the air at any plane that went over and wishing it was mine.
Good luck

Re: You sellin' out Zane???

So let me guess. After Zane sells the 170, gets hitched, and get's a house. He'll be looking for a big enough plane for at least 3 (three) persons, camping gear, crib, stroller, etc???

Just checked the member rolls of this site. There's over 2,000 currently registered users. If Zane had a lousy $20 from every one of us, he'd have the asking price of his plane, and a couple years of oil changes to boot.

Re: You sellin' out Zane???

Well, Zane is a bright guy, and young Erin is an absolute treasure. He'd be a fool for putting a clunky old Cessna 170 above her on his priority list. Believe me, I spent decades putting my airplanes and flying off to the far corners of the world ahead of kith and kin, and in the end, it made for a pretty lonely life. Luckilly I've found someone willing to put up with my cranky old self, and I'm trying my best to make up for a whole lotta lost time.

Now if he had a Cessna 180 or a tricked out Super Cub..... We'd be having a father-son talk about maybe waitin' a spell and flying a bit more before settling down.

Pretty funny...poor old Skychicken gets no respect. :) Some things make a man think for a minute that he could just load up the plane fly away into the sunrise, or keep the sunset on the left.. or you know. I think a nice 180 could be one. I know I'm sick of renting this shack next to the freeway though.

Ok who else wants to air out their life decisions in the BCP forum? Huh? Anybody? Come on guys!! :)

Re: You sellin' out Zane???

How would you like to get married on a boat on Chilkoot Lake in Alaska? I can handle about 60 people on the four boats and we could have a fly in and a hell of a party :D I for one would be willing to send in my $20.00

Re: You sellin' out Zane???

As someone that's getting married in two weeks, I think I'll stay out of this one.

The Stinsons future is secure (until kids at least), but I don't think my ol' DR350 is going to last beyond the summer. (But I haven't given up yet!)

To be honost, I'll be surprised if she says I do, I can be a real hard headed pain in the ass, that's a cheap bastard. She's way outta my league too... but don't tell her that.
