2010 Annual BCP Fly-In set - Johnson Creek 25-27 June

Okay the Zane & all the members that loved it this year have spoken. It looks like we are going to make it another round at JC!

Mark your calanders now, Johnson Creek (3u2) 25-27 June 2010. Its going to be awesome, with a potluck on saturday night, bring beer. More to come as that time comes next year.

WHEE, If you get me the name & number I can make the call to the Idaho Division of Aeronautics. I am 95% sure i'll be there.
Okay so I decided to throw some info out for those that haven't been to JC since I have lots of time to kill!

Here are a few links that show some pictures of Johnson Creek and other local popular places to visit, you can also check out (please do, and join) SHORTFIELD.COM for alot of great pictures, video's, PIREPS & description of the fields.

Looks like we need 3 separate polls, it is splitting up the results from each category. #-o
I'm in for JC 25-27

Re: 2010 Annual Backcountry Pilot Fly Inn- Location & Date Poll

Its still giving how many votes per item so from what I can see right now there are 8 votes, 7 JC, 1 Moose Creek. We shouldn't have to split anything up, we just don't go off the percentage, but the actual number per Location/Date/ potlock ye or ne!

I think Dave was being nice......but it looks like they (Supercub.org) are planning their fly in for the June 18,19,20 dates. Seem we should not consider these dates in our poll.

Re: 2010 Annual Backcountry Pilot Fly Inn- Location & Date Poll

The Division of Aeronautics would like to have the person who makes the reservations be at the fly-in. It didn't seem to matter that I couldn't make it this year but I think it would be best if the person making the reservation was pretty sure they would be able to make it. I am totally willing to make the reservation once the date is selected and I know if I will be able to attend. Otherwise I'd be more than happy to assist someone in making it.

Re: 2010 Annual Backcountry Pilot Fly Inn- Location & Date Poll

Whee, sounds good! I am pretty sure i'll be going so if needed then I can make the reservations!

Okay everyone supercub fly in is going to conflict with one of the dates, I tried to delete the 18-20th but it wouldn't let me so please
DO NOT vote for the 18-20th June! as it will not count! Thanks everyone.

Probably a good group to hang with, but they like camping in the rain. :D

Re: 2010 Annual Backcountry Pilot Fly Inn- Location & Date Poll

Here's my 2 cents:

Just call it June 25-27, 2010 at Johnson Creek with a potluck. It sounds like everyone had a great time, so just plan on that same thing again next year. No polling needed. :)

Re: 2010 Annual BCP Fly Inn set - Johnson Creek 25-27 June

Well I let Gary with the Idaho Aeronatics division know what dates we want so its on his calander. It wont be official though until Dec/Jan when I have to email him back and give him an estimate number of planes & people.

I can't wait till Nov....not flying and watching others fly me around suck. 1 Month down, 3 to go! Thank God for Skype though.

last Christmas my sister decided to get married and set the date just after Christmas. She knew I had been planning a rafting trip for the past year. I told her I planned the trip first...she changed the date.

Re: 2010 Annual BCP Fly-In set - Johnson Creek 25-27 June

haha ya, but they asked if I could do that day and planned it around it. Being in a flying position in the military doesn't give me alot of leaway when it comes to taking vacation. I can't just fly home on the weekend. And im taking 3 weeks off in July/Aug for Oshkosh so i'll just have to make a sacrafice. Still plan on flying to Id another time!

Re: 2010 Annual BCP Fly-In set - Johnson Creek 25-27 June

So is June 25 to 27 still on for the Johnson Creek BCP Fly-in?

The reason I am asking is because I was thinking it would be cool to have the the Second Annual East Coast BCP Fly-in on the same dates.
