Re: 2012 Annual Summer Fly-in at Johnson Creek, ID

I am wondering the name of the fella who won the heli trip this year? Anyone know how to get a hold of him? I just want to get him in the books or make certain someone is.

I am in for giving another heli trip 2012! I hope one of you that attends gets it!

So Zane....who is the fella that won this year? You need someone to ride in the heli with you! Don't forget, AK airman's show and then Valdez STOL just after. I will be attending both. I will be flying my plane! I am certainly nobody special, but damn I would love to beat Paul Klaus in the heavy touring class!!! Been practicing a bunch at 6000'.

There's usually a pot luck dinner saturday night. I think we should do the micro brew thing again too, I wasn't there that year. What does everyone else think?

did somebody say 'micro-brew'? =P~ ouch, quit twisting my arm! Looks like the stars have aligned and I'll be free from school for this trip...I'll plan on bringing at least one 5 gallon keg of home-brew, any requests?

Good idea, I think us PNW guys are pretty lucky where we live when it comes to the suds.

If your heli-ski winner is a no show I would be happy to sacrifice my free time to take his place.

Re: 2012 Annual Summer Fly-in at Johnson Creek, ID

As always, we are really looking forward to this. One way or another, we will cram all 5 of us in the 182 and will be there!

I just realized that the 23rd, the night of the potluck, will be Adam's 5th birthday! I don't think I'll be able to get enough cake and icecream to JC for everyone, but maybe I can get you all to sing happy birthday to him. A run to McCall for a birthday cake will probably be in order =D> . He loves JC about as much as his dad and is always asking me when we are going camping at JC again.

I'll make the icecream like last summer, but we'll try to make more. Zane is still ticked he didn't get any. Maybe smaller bowls will help. I'm already in the planning stages to try to figure how to get more ice and freezers in the backcountry tripacer.
