All better now! 2 glasses of Cabernet and a giant shot of BOTTOM shelf tequila. 4 Del Tacos. BURPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!

I'm a chicken. I like what you said Gump. I just wish I had the privilege of flying with guys who know how to go in the shit and not get dead.

Sorry to play the card Rob...but...some of us are snowed in and demand more entertainment from this thread.

I did appreciate the heads up on 4 Del Tacos though. I had to grab the boys and make a "DT run" to get in the mexican mood.

Now carry on-

Rob- Have a great trip, forecast 3/3/11 for LTO is 84 degrees, clear. Don't forget the one tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor. Remember, you and Ford are the BCP representatives/ambassadors in Baja! =D>

Yes, as you probably know this week he will update his Facebook profile and business cards. He did say the new look is not diamond stud earrings but 3/8 inch drill bits that broke off when they tried to make holes in his lobes.

Late note. Leemer I just ran across that pic and thought of your avitar, you know I just was funnin and Rob only goes to baja for the cheap gas and tequilla. I look forward to the real pics.

Headed south to sunny warm socal and Mexico. Just some valley fog. 17* at Troutdale when I left Saturday February 26, 2011

Did a few low passes over a buddies hobby shop [-X
Image

The wind was a whistling over the top of Mt Shasta
Image

Lake Shasta Northern Cali. Severe Clear!
Image

Weather was sever clear till I got to Tehachapi Pass. I think I need to look elsewhere. Time to bob and weave. Zig and zag. Nervous now, The clouds seem to br coming from every direction. Got over to Antelope Valley. 1.5hr to go and be at my destination. Only one black wall in front of me. Time to throw the towel in and land.

Did you know if you ask to land at Palmdale Regonal/USAF Plant 42. They won't let you. WTF. Nobody else using it  So went to General Fox. Talk about nowhere ville. Got a free Holiday Inn shuttle to the motel and kicked it back.
Image

This is what the black wall that got me to chicken out left Saturday afternoon.
Image

On the way to Big Bear and breakfast with glidergeek. Glass smooth. 58skylane wish you had made it.

Image

Was 7* at Big Bear so I put the nose warmer on. Must of been 32* when we left. So nice.
Image

The Barnstormer Cafe. AVGAS $4.30 win win. Had a good visit with Russ. I think we broke the BS meter.
Image

Here in Bermuda Dunes till we leave for Mexico Wednesday. Another storm coming I hope M7flyer doesn't get trapped in the LA basin.

You out there Jack "Desert Rat" Lets meet and eat!

Cheers...Rob

Great pictures! And your note a chicken!! The weather was real crap yesterday in most area's. Not sure the top of the clouds, but maybe could have made it to Fullerton. There was an opening over Fullerton/Brea area most of the day.

A small rope to hold the rear door open. Tail dragger thing. When a unsuspecting passenger ask that I tell them to let me know if it is facing forward. I say we got big problems if that happens
