Check his spot 27,28 and 29. That is a nice beach at Punta San Francisquito. Been there twice. Where he is now has a crappy beach. It is covered with diapers. Nice hotel though, right on the airstrip. Called Hotel Serinidad. Been there a few times too.

He is on a nice trip and nobody down there wants a Maule.

For the most part when your driving in Mexico yes the country side looks like a garbage dump, but those are rocks painted white Your landing fee $ put to good use.

I got news for you Geek... the whole F***King country IS a garbage dump...Yeah there are a few nice places but they'll never get my tourist dollar... living in San Diego I have more than enough knowlege about that shithole of a country to know of what I speak...

Glad they are ok, I am sure a little shaken though. The plane is a low wing, did it catch the berm at the side of the road? When he cares to talk about it I am sure there is something to be learned here if he would care to share it. Is this the Lancair from your post above about the take off crash on the Mexican side?
