Very happy with Goodyear's 8.50s
These pictures are killing me but everywhere I read I see the 850s most likely will need spacers so they don't hit the brakes. I just bought some new 800 tubes so this time I decided to go with 800x6 and 600x6 for my 172H. I have the AVCON 180hp conversion so I still have to figure out 4ply vs 6ply for the mains.

I read the same about needing spacers.
The 8.50s fit no problem and I didnt have to put spacers.
I have Cleveland brakes, maybe is that.

Could it be that yours is a 182 and mine is a 172?

My C180 has a Cleveland 199-62 double-puck brake conversion kit, no spacers required for 850x6 tires.

No spacers required on a C-140 with 8.50's either. Cleveland brakes.
