If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Adding it to my calendar.

Not positive whether I can make it yet, but I'm starting an intensive liver training regimen now, just in case I can. :D

Re: Austin Fly-In 2012

I've got a family reunion and the Oregon Pilots Association annual meeting. I vote for Austin. I have to get my shoulder cut on, torn rotator cuff, so I may not be doing any flying. I'll know better Monday 9th when I meet with the surgeon. I keep hoping for a scope repair. It is my throttle arm. I guess I could fly the right seat. Might be tricky with 1 hand. :D

my left one has been torn for years... can't afford to be in a sling for 4 months so I never had the surgery...it's a daily pain and I have to work around it.. can't lift anything straight ahead and up with my left.. good luck....

I'm with you on that, Iceman. Left has a small tear I've been living with as I can't figure out any way to climb into the Husky without using my left arm. I tried once, rapped my head on the door frame - - OUCH. Was sorta hoping it would self-heal without the doc.

They do finally heal up pretty much, mine are ok now, but were horrible for years. Of my friends that had the surgery and mine, I think mine are better or at least as good..

Had my Right ripped apart about 90% a year ago April, Tried to deal with it all season, could hardly run a machine let alone use the arm, to much of a wimp, cried alot!! Fixed this Feb. Would recomend it to anyone!! Now back to about 80% of what is was before, getting better by the day.
Heck now I can use my right hand again!!
Figured I better get it fixed as the new bird has a stick in it!!

Doesn't sound like I am as bad as you George. I will be glad to get it fixed. I hope they can scope it. Was yours fixed with a scope?

Cheers...Rob

Kinda, 3 little holes and one slice about 2 inches. Little pain pump for about 4 days, was 4 weeks before I could sleep in a bed though!! Make sure you like your recliner!!
If you need a recommendation for a great doc who does nothing but shoulders and scopes knees, I can give you one in Spokane.

It's a constant pain. Hate it but it's my left and I have compensated for years with my right. If I showed u my left shoulder vs my right you would immediately see how the left has lost muscle tone from no use.

Anybody with an empty seat planning to fly down to Austin from the SW/Idaho area (Caldwell/Emmett/Boise/????)? I'll pitch in for gas.

Thanks.

Pops what do you use that hole for the rest of the year? I'm still overseas right now but as long as I make it home I'm gonna plan on being there even if I drive.

Right now I'm scheduled to get back from a trip on the 25th but POSSIBLY late the 24th. We'll be making it for sure if I get back on the 24th.
