






A closer look revealed that the married couple were moving the cattle from grazing ground on one side of the lake to their ranch on the opposite side. From the air it looked like a scene from a Mad Max movie, or life after the Apocalypse, with miles of nothing all around them, they had a great attitude though and we had a good visit, they answered cattle/dry lake questions and I answered plane questions, and the dogs got to shade up.
I stopped there again on the way back to disperse some coffee, and then next stepped out of the plane hours and 300+ miles or so later and without thinking tracked caked dry lake sand into the house
