Hey Gary. Tell us about the breakfast place in Gateway. How much and do they take credit cards? What is the name of the place? Are they open on Saturday?

Cory, here's a link to the Gateway Canyons Restaurant, I'm sure they take credit cards.

Beware, sometimes the adventure center is busy and can't pick people up. It's about a 3/4 mile walk from the hangar to the Grill. Here's the adventure centers number: 970.931.2649

Sounds like we received about 10"+ of wet slushy snow at the hangar last night... time to go shovel. #-o

The walk is nothing. Like 15 min. Great place. I'll talk to Mike we may try for the breakfast meeting.

Made it to Elko, Nv. blackrock has a truck waiting for me. I am going to explore the town. Got mildly shook up, had to dodge some IFR conditions, but I am here. Got the box O wine tapped (SUPERMAULE) and getting my swerve on :D

Made it to KAPA for the night. Departing west from KAPA at 7:30 to Mack Mesa, then to Mexican Mountain. With any luck we may run into Hicountry and the gang.

SPOT will be on. See everyone soon!

I have just returned from the Caveman Ranch flyin. I had to leave early due to the crazy Northern Idaho weather. It was great. Gary had the event running like a well oiled machine not doubt partially due to his fabulous margaritas. Rod, Paula and Hunter were the consummate hosts and the flying and camping at the ranch and the surrounding strips were terrific. I cannot wait to return to the area.

Looked like everyone had a pretty good time.

Think we can call it a success. No rains, no floods, didn' run out of anythin, it was all good.

Thanks to everyone, especialy Rod, Hunter, johnny, and Paula, for sharing their slice of paradise with us, and beeing such great hosts.

I second what Gary said. I made it to Palm Desert. Had some 30 MPH head winds. Pretty bump, but not the worst I have flown. Cheers...Rob
