Flying with RobW56

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Where's that spot at Rob? Give me the location and we could meet there sometime. Mike

Very pretty spot-- not what you'd invision in drought-stricken California.
But then again it is the middle of winter, after some recent storms, so not as dry as normal.
Where (roughly) is that? Don't need specifics, just something like "near Oroville" or wherever.

Click on his GPS track link, and you'll get better than a rough idea.
GE's got good resolution in that area, looks like a great place to camp, drink, shoot guns, (not necessarily in that order), and pan for gold, especially after the creeks recede.

Cool! We had a good pic next to the space needle too, I'll have to see if I can find it.

Charley's been in GA News more times than I can count. He was on the cover of the rag at least once.

Re: Flying with RobW56

Today we went flying to Watsonville for breakfast then out to the beach at Monterey Bay Academy. We met up with mike50 who has a nice 140A Patroller that looks just like a smaller version of my 170.

Love those pics of the kids!

Agree with the previous poster that commented on the beauty of a Cessna taildragger in flight.

Re: Flying with RobW56

Great photo of the 170B and the 140A together. Needs a 1/3 scale 140 or 170 RC plane to complete the trifecta though.

Cute kid pics too.

Rob, do both car seats go in back or does mom ride In back with one car seat up front?
