Flying with RobW56

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Lets do it if you have time. I'll be around for sure.

Re: Flying with RobW56

On Saturday I took my family on our first camping trip since we bought the 180. Toketee has been on my list for places to visit for a long time so that's where we decided to go. It's a nice place to camp, the east end of the runway has tiedowns, a picnic table, and a firepit where someone left plenty of firewood. The weather was perfect, not too hot during the day, and not too cold at night.

Re: Flying with RobW56

This weekend I flew up to Elmendorf AFB in the C-5 for an Airshow. I had Friday off and Phil (Barnstormer) was generous enough to fly up to Lake Hood and pick me up to go flying in his SQ-2. Thanks again Phil, I had a blast!
