Grassstrippilot & Family: North to Alaska!

After years of dreaming, 5 months of planning, purchasing gear and modifying the plane for the trip, we are set to launch. Checklists and to-do lists are down to the few last minute items and the feeling has set in that there isn't anything left to do, but go!

We will use is thread to update our progress, hopefully meet up with as many fellow BCPers as we can, and share a little as we go, with a full trip report to follow once we return.

Please follow along via the link below. We will also update on FB. We will be a flight of two: us in our 205 and Allen & Stan Macbean in their 170. Needless to say, we are so excited!

Re: Grassstrippilot & Family: North to Alaska!

What is your routing?

I'm in southwest BC. CYSE (Squamish).

Let me know if you are in the neighbourhood. We can feed and house the brood.

Re: Grassstrippilot & Family: North to Alaska!

Thanks Allan. Weather will determine the route. Hoping for the trench. Here's a rough outline of our plans. If we end up in your neighborhood, I'll reach out. Thanks for the offer!

What an incredible adventure to experience with your family. Safe travels and I can't wait to hear about it.

PS, Better make Sprocket apart of the pre-flight checklist. ;)
