Yep! Got a new-to-me radio overnighted and installed last Been trying to pack everything tonight. Hopefully I remembered everything we need, but I'm sure I forgot something critical and remembered plenty of unnecessary (heavy) stuff

Woo hoo! I didn't think I was going to be able to get to OSH this year, but I've traded some work days and I'll be flying/jumpseating into Appleton and renting a car on Friday the 29th. At least I get there for the last weekend. And I've got wheels if anyone needs a ride..

Relaxing here at JC Wednesday and Thursday with iceman, Don and QMDV. Getting acclimatized to the heat also. Friday morning I'll set out to meet the group in Casper Wy. Then on to Hay Springs.

Those are for huffing, when they run out of whiskey the first night.

I'm in Oshkosh, and hope to meet a few of the site regulars while I'm here. Please share your parking and camping locations, maybe even some eating plans so I can join up. I'm at a private residence north of town. Have a car.

We're parked in the north 40, row 527. The red Maule in a sea of Cessnas and Pipers.

There wasn't much of a group flight. Met up with OregonMaule in Hay Springs, and flight of two from Utah that kept going to get ahead of the weather. Had dinner with OregonMaule at the steakhouse.

The following morning, a local pilot (sorry, I forgot your name!) stopped by with some doughnuts (thanks again!).

We made our separate ways to OSH, and arrived within 90 minutes or so of each other.

Wednesday can't come soon enough.

We'll be camping somewhere in the vast wilderness of Camp Scholler. wed to sat. Southwest and a rental car.

See ya there.

I've eaten at that same steakhouse. In Hay Springs with Karl S. Landed in Chadron though. My airplane of the day wasn't suited to Hay Springs.
