Beautiful day here at JC. Only 42 checked in so far. My odds of winning a prize are going up!!

Well, we made it over the cascades with some work, but all of the circling and bumps got my son airsick.......somewhat comical, as he had all of our jackets on him because he was cold up high. So we are at a laundromat in Madras washing all of our jackets that got soiled with stomach acid, lol

It's sprinkling here in Madras and looks crummy to the east, so Chukar Flats is where our fly in is happening......drop in if you are in the area.

We will see how it looks in the morning and may continue east, or just stay put. Hope you guys have a great time at JC.

Really good dinner. Good company. Greg played his guitar. Had a big camp fire.
Tomorrow is the big raffle for bushwheels. And Cub Crafters dinner.

At McCall getting gas after nice day at Chamberlain. Back to JC soon. Canping next to Dorys. Good people. Met Rob and Soy. Met Cory and thx to him and Windy and others for a great time. Won a survival pack! Nice relaxed fly-in.

Awe what can you say when someone calls the Idaho Dept of Aviation and files a complaint from afar with no intention of showing up??

23!!! I knew it got cold but wow! I have a good shot of my wings steaming as the ice melted off, and even after flying home when I got my tent out to dry out, it still had ice crystals on it!

I almost didn't go, last year was just too big time and crowded for me, this year was perfect and I'm really glad I went. I actually won something in the raffle also, a STC'd PMA certified (whatever that means) hor stab jack screw assembly for a Super Cub by Dakota Cubs, worth $401.00!

I believe I have it sold, I figured the entire trip, fuel, a motel room in Challis (e biking there) the night before, registration fee, beer etc, cost me about $250.00, so that is what I am asking for the thing, seems like a win/win for me and whoever buys it. If the first person does not come through, I'll list it here in a few days.

On our last leg home to e98 from NBAW. Spent night at Blanding in our motor home. A real bed after 4 nights in our 2 person tent at jc. Thanks Dorys for the delicious cherries you left us. Thanks Courier for getting Mike excited about his ebike project. I heard 61 airplanes total. Just right! Enjoyed flying with Jason and the Salt Lake folks. Ready to do it again. After a break at home.
