Erin and I are planning to attend Airventure this summer and thought it would be fun to have a BCP meetup again.

I've asked the Hartzell folks if we are able to use their super cool (figuratively AND literally) tent for the meeting place. Many of you know it and the best-in-show white and blue Cessna 185 belonging to 185midwest that's usually parked out front.

Do you guys think the afternoon airshow will present a scheduling conflict for people? Should we do it before lunch? Or closer to the beer hour so that maybe we can transition to dinner and hot tubbing if we're feeling it?

Suddenly I feel a little ill.

Shucks, I'm not planning to fly in until Thursday. I figured a lot of attendees would be leaving Thursday AM after the Wednesday night airshow. I've always arrived early and left early, so this year I thought it would be interesting to arrive late and leave late. A Thursday arrival also aligns with spending some time at the beach with my grandkids the previous week. If you're still around later on Thursday, I'd like to buy you your drink of choice so I could bend your ear for a bit. PM me if that might be doable.

I’ll be there all week, but don’t know anything yet about the schedule. It might be best to just pick a time and let everyone who’s interested work around it.

I don't have vacation time for it, so I won't know until June how long my OSH trip will be. I'm thinking 1.5 days to fly there, 1.5 days to fly back and maybe two days at OSH.

But youbetcha I'll coordinate with you and at least stop in if you're home.

Traveling and camping with my EAA 609 (Chehalis WA) buddies in South 40.
I'll be leaving 1WA2 early Thursday 17th and arriving Friday evening.
Staying through to Wednesday evening to see the night light show and departing OSH on Thursday the 24th.
