Re: Photo thread: Show Us Your Plane!

After 3 long months of negotiating, pre-buy/annual, prop overhaul, weather, life/job getting in the way… we finally brought home the new ship today. I had to keep it quiet- :? -poachers everywhere- -never being quite sure that it was going to happen- :o but its now official. 1809Z was relocated from its former crib in Ely to temporary digs @ KBTF this afternoon.

Nice 205! I was taking a hard look at that one as well when it was on trade-a-plane.

Re: Photo thread: Show Us Your Plane!

Congratulations STL.

Does your new plane have the STC fork which accommodates a larger nose wheel or is that stock?

Re: Photo thread: Show Us Your Plane!

Bighorn - Very cool. I'd like to see more. Champs of bush wheels are awesome and too rare (I may be biased since I have flown them quite a bit...)

And, because this is a show your airplane thead...the Mighty Tripacer tucked in for the night:

If anyone has info on field approving an 8.00 on the nose using a PA-32 fork (I already have one in my stash) please drop me a PM.
