Re: Gardenvale Vet Clinic @ TX STOL Roundup

Gardenvale Vet Clinic @ TX STOL Roundup

So this is pretty cool. A long time competitor and demo team pilot Will Evans, who flies Nemo an orange/white 182, is sponsoring this year's Roundup only because he knows the level of effort and cost it takes to put on an event like this- thanks Will!

Part of his sponsorship will go to a get together Friday night where we will have a camp fire, shoot an anvil into the air, and who knows what other mischief or high jinks we can partake in- we are still in the planning stages, if you've got any ideas let me know. Should be fun. Be sure and thank Will when you see him.

This is looking like a BIG deal! Great sponsors! I was hoping to make it, but it conflicts with the Cessna 195 annual convention. I'll make sure they pick another date next year!

You guys need to fly those 195's to the Roundup, that would be super cool. 195 is a plane I've always had an affection for. Almost traded the Stearman I used to have for one.

Anyway we've got another sponsor...

Aircraft Specialties @ TX STOL Roundup

We are excited to have Aircraft Specialties as a new sponsor for this year's event. Please stop by their trailer and say thanks for their support.

BTW: If you are wondering what Talkeetna is here is a video I put together from one of my visits.

Re: Texas Aircraft @ TX STOL Roundup

Phil,

I can't find it anywhere, can I bring my Lab or no airport dogs allowed?

Didn't see showers anywhere, any chance I just missed it?

Re: Texas Aircraft @ TX STOL Roundup

Airport Policy is no dogs allowed although I saw a couple of very small dogs last year.

No showers. There is a small gym that has a shower within walking distance that you could use for a gym day fee.

Re: Texas Aircraft @ TX STOL Roundup

I noticed on the website that the city of Hondo is charging $15 per plane to fly in, or $5 per car, Is there an admission fee also??
