Not sure about walking. I'll have my gas scooter. Ha I really need to walk. I always have freeze dried stuff to.

At this point I'm planning on bringing the family so wieners and smores over the fire for us!

The locals are going to try and mow the week before and get a fire ring set up on the south end. I hope to pick up a load of wood in the truck and drive it in.

Talked to one of the local ultralight pilots. He spent all day on his personal riding mower getting the grass knocked down for the weekend. Thanks Tom!

Talked with Linda at Lucas Lodge yesterday, she said she has room in the lodge and empty cabins if anyone is interested in staying there instead of dragging all their camping gear out. She said you could also camp beside your airplane on the strip if you wish. Told her, I would keep her posted as to, about how many people might be dropping in for breakfast or lunch.

Anyone that is camping at Powers Friday might want to head over. I was thinking of "fueling up" prior to my departure.

If anyone needs anything I live about 1 mile away from the Grants Pass (3S8) and would be more than happy to run anyone into town. My hangar is next door to Chief Aircraft so if you need to stop by make sure it is done by Friday at 5.

Weather is looking pretty good for friday/saturday. Sunday showing slight chance of showers, but a long as ceilings stay high enough, that's no big deal.

We are in for Friday, can't wait!

I could also bring a small chain saw if it would help?

edit: jeeze now I'm tempted to come down on Friday and fish all day Saturday or at least come down early Saturday...

We're still planning on coming out Saturday morning and doing breakfast on Sunday (two adults and two childeren), however I'll be watching the weather pretty close to see if we need to bug in or out early . I won't be hauling wood but I can help cut and gather so we we can cook our dogs!
