I'm headed to the airport now to change the M7 oil and put in a fresh set of spark plugs. I already have 110 hours on the overhauled 540. Then take the wife to brunch at Mulino, Independence, or Salem. Where ever she wants to go.

Hope to see a gaggle of you at Sandy River later. Looks like east wind. I'll be by the iPhone.

This is one of those you should have been there moments. There was a small amount of people. What we lacked in numbers we made up for with pure flying fun. Flew the pattern till after sunset. Wait till you see the video. Rick, Harley, Zane, Erin, Jamin, Paul , John, Arty, Eric, Brian and Christina came, saw and had a few adult beverages around the camp fire. A BIG THANKS to Rudderbash and the Hoffmans AKA Gold Rush family, for letting us use your wonderful airport.

It was close to 79* for a high and down last night to 52* it doesn't get better than that.

I got to fly and land a Sport Cub as an added bonus. I greased too.

Now it is time to pick up and head to the Flying M for breakfast.

I wanted to come, but I just couldn't pull it off. You may see Bryan and the flying M. I did make it to Pacific City for breakfast on Saturday. 17 planes on the ground there.

Hot enough to fry a frog. It was only 80 F today, I don't think I could live anywhere warmer than this.

I've heard of people frying frog's legs for supper, but leave it to someone from Portlandia to fry the whole frog. How was it? And how many of them did it take to feed the whole crew?
