This year, we headed north to NW Montana to visit Glacier National Park before the fly-in. After a quick lunch stop at Blackfoot, where my sister dropped by to see us, we set out to see how far north we could get. There were some showers so we only made it to Seeley Lake, but what a great stop. We were even surprised by a BCP member who saw us land and recognized our aircraft. The park was great and Shafer, although a little damp/muddy, was nice to camp at.
Our third night was spent at Cavanaugh Bay after a fuel stop in Libby, MT. It was Adam's birthday, so we spent the afternoon in Coolin by the lake where he could throw rocks into the water.
The next day, we stopped at Elk City for breakfast on our way down to Johnson Creek. The next few days we checked out New Meadows, flew to Moose Creek for a picnic, and to Elk City for an afternoon treat on our way back to JC.
The potluck once again had great food and company. Thanks again to Lora for holding Sadie while we ate.
It was a great week of flying and camping. It was so good to see old friends and to make new ones. We can't believe that it has come and gone and now we have to wait another year. Thanks everyone!
The video is a little long and you'll have to endure the excessive shots of Adam and Sadie since this is going to the Grandparents too.

Hope you enjoy!
