Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Looks like the ODNRA :D

Looks can be deceiving :D .......all this flooding has created a lot of interesting islands in the rivers.

Last one.

Is there something wrong with me.....? I take more pictures of my tire tracks than I do anything else :?

I was heavy on fuel and had to get all the way up to the end of this bar for departure.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Highroad,
Was that yesterday? Over here by Grants Pass it was pretty much IMC most of the day. Had a great flight in on Monday though. And today is looking clear with some fast moving high clouds but calm on the ground.
Had a great tailwind coming over Mt Ashland Monday.

Yes, it was yesterday. It stormed hard over here until about noon yesterday and then the sun came out. There was a perfect corridor up and down the coast that was sunny and pretty calm but it looked nasty inland and you could see the next storm building out in the Pacific. The wind and rain hit again about midnight last night and it is still storming. That high pressure area must of moved inland and that is what you are getting now??

Got to try out the new bushwheels for the first time today! I think I'm gonna like them! I shot multiple landings on the grass at Rio Vista and one landing at this spot.
