Flew out to (near) the coast to check on Gump's "Tiltin' Hilton".
First pass to find some rocks small enough to tail in on, I saw a huge griz munching on the sedge, second pass he'd moved up to the tree line & stood on a rock watching me. Was too bizzy to get a pic of him, but he was the biggest griz I've seen for several years. Nice colors too!
Got the plane secured (lucky the tide was coming IN) & hiked down the beach to the cabin...

It's just off the high tide line...

Looked much better from the backside...

The boat will need a lil' work tho...

Here is the conex box locking device, still secure...

Stovepipe from kitchen stove rusted out, this is the only BadThing. You need to come up this summer & fix this, & bring a cleaning (??) lady...

AND it's about time to replace the calendar! No wonder the landscaping has gone to hell...

Looks liveable, with a little cleaning up, & replacing that kitchen stovepipe. Didn't see any water damage, no broken windows, but there's a dead pine marten in the bedroom. No smell, he's all dehydrated so left him there for you to discover.

The glass door that says "Keep shut" was open, I propped it closed. There was some flavor of Cessna on final to the Dean river strip as I was escaping. Two seals balanced on a big floating log was comical.
Beautiful spot, Gump. You should come up sometime!
Oh, and here's my trip route...
