Jealous... Have a great weekend!

Once again perfect flying weather is perfect hoisting weather, I'm working Sat., at least it's a full day, a good sized job. Old habits die hard (work when you have the work, and I had nothing most of the week) I was good to go until I got the call to duty last night. But today is free and I will be making a little Wyoming flight, to check up on the Backcountry Cubs LSA prototype. Fly safe you slackards and layabouts, I'll be keeping the economy going!

Made it home, although it took some creative routing to get around weather. Made some new friends, caught up with a lot of old friends, and got to fly with my Dad! Thanks all for the great time!!

Man, what an awesome time I had! Just got home safe and sound. Rain started as I closed the hangar door.

Thanks so much to Kevin and everyone who helped make this such an awesome event! I'll for sure be back!

The weatherman screwed us were stuck in Sunriver Oregon. Although there are a lot worse places to be stuck. So were having lunch.

Looks like a doable VFR/scud run as I look north from the front porch in Terrebonne. It was clear skies at 0800 today! Fly safe and I'll listen for you overhead.

Made it home safe a couple hours ago. Had clear skies and a nice tailwind the whole way. Had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new. Thanks AKT and Z!

Great time indeed! Got home before the 40 kt winds hit here in Reno, great day to have the plane in the hangar and relax. It was great to meet everyone and go fly the desert!

Had a great time fri & sat, really bummed to miss sat night, no doubt it was a blast. Thanks Kevin for pulling together such an incredible event - class act all the way! It was great to see folks I hadn't seen in a while and put even more BCP names with faces. The aircraft lineup around the lakebed was a droolfest.

On a stop through Yerington on sat morning a guy from one of the on-field businesses remarked that he hadn't seen that many planes come and go in a long time, let alone that many taildraggers - very cool to see a niche within GA thriving.

As always, looking forward to the next opportunity to go play!

What a fun weekend! I got home safely but it was a challenge. It hit very high winds, rain, snow and low ceilings. But managed.

Home safe and sound by 2pm. We had a nice 25 knt push going home that cut over a half hour off the trip!

What a great weekend! Awesome flying weather, cool planes, and great company. It was nice to see familiar friends and meet new faces. Again, thanks to Kevin for putting together a top notch get together and to Zane for bringing us all together! Next year I'll bring the whole gang.

Can't wait until the next one!

Didn't quite make it home. Rob and I are posted up in Madras as the gorge closed off before we could make it home to Troutdale which was fairly low overcast. Exciting day of flying though, very dynamic weather.

One of my all time fav fly-ins! Thanks Kevin and crew for such a great job on pulling it together. There will be a video forthcoming. It might be good enough to release on DVD.

Great fly-in we had a great time again this year. We enjoyed meeting a bunch of pilots. Most of all thanks to Kevin for putting it all together!

Back at Troutdale safe. Is Zane and I made the right call by giving it up last night at 5 o'clock. Heavy rain low visibility low ceilings and today is nothing but sun. Don't want to be one of those guys their picking up the pieces on a sunny day.

Great time great friends it does doesn't get any better.

Landed in Lake View on the taxi way for fuel just as Alex took off. Winds were 31 knots on take off, taxi way departure... Scud running through snow and rain with nasty head winds, got around most of it by going east and followed hwy 20 into Bend. Bend airport turned a very mean windy rainy IFR 20 minutes after landing.

Awesome weekend, it was great to meet everyone. Thanks to Kevin and all who made this possible.

It was a wild ride home for me too. After taxiing about a mile to takeoff on a taxiway pointed into the wind, the wind shifted and became more of a crosswind. I went for it anyway and it was a handful; but I managed to get airborne quickly without any damage. Then I slowly picked my way to Bend meandering between shafts of rain and snow. It was an adventure to say the least.
