If you make it, you can park right on the runway next to me, and I'll provide the margs for ya.

I've been looking on Google Earth and how far back does that paved road goes? I see it's paved to the plant and even see some other rigs at the plant.
Is it a good wide smooth road for a 80k pound rig and almost 80 feet long?? I don't mind a little bit of a dirt road. Just as long as I don't get stuck. Hmm

Not to discourage from driving your rig into Caveman...I doubt very much if you could pull your trailer in past the mine. You might be able to get the tractor into Caveman if you were real careful. This is a picture of the road just above the airstrip as I was leaving last year. Good luck. HC

Thanks Ernie. Yeah, probably not a good idea to take the rig down that road. Plus, I'm getting a brand new 2013 Kenworth at the end of the month. I'm sure my boss would flip a lid if he found out I took it down that kind of a road.
Just a short side note. I did have to take a detour on a dirt road around Hwy 52 south of St Paul, MN once. Just paid $90.00 to have it washed up in St. Paul and headed to Rochester when I came up on the detour (bad wreck on 52). I turned onto the detour which the first part was paved. Then it turned to dirt about a half mile down

Oh well, somebody else was have a much worse day than me, so I just dealed with it and had the rig rewashed in Rochester.
Anyway, I'll probably just part at the airport or someplace in town. I've got lot's of time to figure it out.
