We had a great time the whole weekend! It was good to see old friends and make new ones.
Special thanks to the Dorys for all their hard work and gracious hospitality!

I was the "Last Flight out" approx. 9am Joe and his family were (and are ) such great host. Bill Berle and I stayed in town (Austin) in the "Lincoln motel" -- never again . Lincoln motel was (and is ) a minus -6 on a 1 to 10 scale. Transportation was great too and from Fly In by Lions club members (Thanks Poncho) and Joe's Family. Think I'll bring the Motor Home next year-and 182. Outlaw.org was in force with more booze and tall stories than we had seen or heard in many a moon. Maules from everywhere and lots of Cubs and experimentals. I was especially impressed with yellow Highlander and Slow flying of Joe's super cub. Great time and "We'll Be Back" Next year I'll stay on airport site> Joe is talking about 100LL and non Alky fuel being ready . I need to bring Tote Goat to shuttle for "Supplies" .

Hey Coyote. Congrats to you and your team on another awesome fly-in and BBQ. We all hated to leave Saturday afternoon. We had hoped to stay the night but Rilla had to get back for another charter that evening. She did try to leave you with a special 'adios amigos fly-by' to remember her by. It was great to see old friends, meet new friends, eat good food, look at Super Cubs and watch some amazing flying. Looking forward to next year.

You all are the greatest, I had such a good time, what a fun weekend. That's living... What the heck are we gonna do next year to beat this?? I guess we could do with a little less wind... ha ha. I'll get a few of the best photos together, and post em here, as there are some dooseys....

But, thank you everyone for such a good time, you are the best friends we could ever ask for. You left everything so that there was hardly anything to clean up. I really appreciate all of your friendship, camaraderie, stories, fly-bys, beautiful aircraft, contributions and help. God Bless, I hope you have blue skies, tailwinds, and all your landings are soft as a butterfly with sore feet.

Make that XXXX shirt size with pocket. Every time my bride washes my clothes they shrink -besides my "bigger is better" frame. Thinking that a new chute for monkey .Picture looks like some outlaws from Americas Most Wanted poster . I think female is packing pink handle 357,

What a wonderful event this turned out to be again!

Thanks to Joe Dory, his family and friends and the local Lions Club for taking what was a lonely remote airport one day... and into a huge welcome mat, a fabulous feast, a flying party, and whopping great time for everyone for two great days. This is becoming the Great Stealth Fly-in!

Ain't nowhere else that you can have this much fun... and (as Obi Wan Kenobi said) "avoid any Imperial entanglements" :)

The only question is how to grow it a little bit without losing any of the stealth factor. In order to support the local community, help the Lions Club, and attract a few more airplanes - it might be worthwhile to add a few more attractions to draw more interest. Not any airshow or trophy stuff of course, but things like a fundraiser raffle. Perhaps ethanol-free mogas made available and/or attractively priced 100LL.

Does anyone know whether that 310 trailing smoke from the left engine made it back to home safely?

Though this isn't the entire group of A jolers,(Mexican Pronunciation) we did manage to all park in the same area together in spite of the "Public Airport, No saving Spaces Rule" some attendies seem to feel is in existance in Nevada. [-X

I am 100% percent with the Iceman. Don't change a thing. You have a great thing going. The fun is the casual, no rules, no trouble atmoshere you have put together. I like what you told me on Saturday...'the only rule is that there ain't no rules'. That's why we all come. Well maybe the all you can eat BBQ has a little to do with it. Keep up the good work.

I wasn't trying to change the Fly in -I was talking about selling raffle tickets to benefit fly in. I'd donate one of my battery boxes or some other service . Bill Berle would offer something to do with his ezflap.
Maybe other guys might donate something else, some fuel or whatever .No formal rules to change.

The only "improvement" I think would be cool, is some show off jet jockey from one of the nearby training area's to do some very impressive fly by's!!! 8-[

oh I think that would be illegal and the feds would definitely not approve... I don't think you'll ever see a jet do a fly by or barrel roll at this fly in... Never happen!!! [-X :^o

Now come on guys, there has to be more than one picture taken at the fly in! I really wanted to go but a guy wanted to come down and look at a car I was selling. I am saving up for last months house payment so I thought I better stay home. Sounds like a great time was had by all.

I like the hay bale/tarp shade ports! Looked like some good spot landings and man those smooth mt. tops look sweet....having just trashed a tailwheel tube yesterday on some sharp shale I can appreciate that. Next year!!
