No, I don’t read all your posts.
But in regards to my post, you are WRONG. What I posted is based 100% on verifiable and documented facts.
Your accusation asserts that you have intimate familiarity with my aircraft, the individuals at the FAA, and the folks at Uavionix, and all the documentation that backs up my claim. Very impressive LOL! [emoji849]
Your accusation of misinformation is worth what I paid to read your post. Have yourself a great day as I don’t care to discredit anything else you post (like I said, I don’t read them) but I’m here all day if you want to continue having fun.
Perhaps I was too strong in my response, but you are spreading incorrect information. Privacy is very important to me, so I've decided to take the time to explain the privacy issues so that other like-minded people can have some information before making a choice. Your post says that there is no anonymous mode from the FAA, that is not true. There are ways to get total anonymous mode, but they are not well known.
Anyway, to your post: Unless your aircraft has a non-conformant ads-b install, then my accusation is based on understanding how the protocol works, verifying what the units are broadcasting on a technical level, several conversations with uavionix, and even
confirmation of this information from uavionix in the other ads-b thread. You are basing your information on what you have heard and experienced. I'm basing my information on the technical details of the protocol and an asd-b decoder that shows the data actually hitting the airwaves.
If the data coming from the aircraft never shows your actual ICAO code, how does the FAA know where you are? Give me something other than a friend of yours knows, or you got a report that shows an anonymous flight using an ads-b solution that's known to leak your ICAO.
