We had quite the hail here on the front range. Glad you made it over the rocks when you did!

Great day of flying yesterday. Raining now, but supposed to clear up and be sunny here from 8 am on. You SLC guys should run over and join the fun!

Poker run this morning, with local festivities commencing this afternoon. Pops is here, so the rest of us are mostly spectators. :)

For all who can't make it, we'll make sure to have enough fun for the lot of you!

Went to the airport this morning. Absolute down pour. The taxiways were a lake. So, instead of buying avgas this weekend, I bought a tug for the plane. Not as fun as flying but my back will thank me!

Ranchpilot... You Low Down Rat... I landed here in Utah, to get rid of some coffee, took my hat off, threw it on the ground, to take my sweatshirt off... And realized why it fit kinda funny this morning.. I thought it was just because it was kinda wet... Your something else.. Besides being a damn good friend...

I knew I wasn't tough enough to wrestle you last night, so I had to resort to treachery. My hat fit a little tight this morning too. Last night was a real head-sweller! :)

I had a wonderful time. Not enough great things can be said about this fly-in or the pilots that attended.

Thank you Mack Mesa for putting this together, you sure know how to host an event!

Im still not back yet! I rode the ridge at 14k from corona up to Milner. Couldn't see the ground for 25 miles east of the divide so I turned back. I ain't going Vfr on top over the rocks.

Waiting again in Granby. Looks like a theme here in the coffee shop.....

Doh! I was thinking about you while watching the clouds yesterday evening into this morning and was curious how the trip back was going to treat you. Good plan on waiting it out.

I am looking at cloud bases rolling down the foothills and am not seeing much movement at all, so you may be there a bit still. Lucky dog -- I'd much rather be waiting out weather than sitting here in my office. :)

Granby! That's where I found my plane! Nice little motel in town. Clean, wifi, and breakfast. Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head but probably could find it if you needed it. Fly safe!

A good book, or two, is my most used bad weather flying tool, right behind the camp stove, coffee, and a good folding lawn chair. =D> Better to get home late then not at all

Looks like your only 50-60 miles from home. Don't take chances, be safe.

Cheers...Rob

Still socked in around BJC and BDU but it is lifting.

My little escape route through Walden up to Laramie then back down around looks just as bad on radar but tough to tell from my armchair.

Fly safe, and when you do make it home we want photos of this weekends shenanigans!
