I hope you get home soon Greg.

I'm glad I left when I did! Had to go to 13,500 for a while, but averaged 140 mph groundspeed over the mountains with broken clouds. Ran into a small headwind once east of the mountains, but still made it from Mack to Amarillo nonstop in four hours twenty minutes.

Thanks to Ladd, Steve and the crew for hosting such an awesome event. I had a great time with old and new friends and the flying was amazing. Looking forward to Ranchpilot getting his video done.

It's soaking and flooding on the front range. I made it home but the daisy is stuck up in Granby. I'll run back up and get it when the wx clears - but I knew it wasn't going to be just 1 day waiting so I rented a car. Sucks cause I was literally 15 minutes from home with no hole to descend into. When you go to the edge of the abyss and look over - saw nothing but tops of clouds all they way out to Kansas. Easy decision.

Thanks to Steve, Lexy, Ladd, Travis, Elizabeth and all the other organizers. A good weekend was had.

No escape flyable - the Daisy will have to sit for a few more days.

It is downright cold today. Odd weather we are having.

Well the Daisy is finally home safe today. Got a VERY narrow window and was able to make it through with the generous help of lesuther. Thanks so much buddy I owe you big time.

Soy, glad you made it back. Good on you for taking the smart/genetically adaptive decision to park at Grandby.

As I was departing from an Undisclosed Location, a familiar voice came up on the hailing frequency saying "...your Cub Buddie made it over the pass and is almost home." So I dialed up the hailing frequency for Boulder Intergalactic, and moments later a voice called "...yellow Cub nine miles west of Boulder, inbound landing." (That was me in the Yellow SoupCup offering you a welcome home.)

And as much as I enjoy the flying, in an activity with more than its fair share of self-centered egos, what I REALLY enjoy is folks like Lesluther who do so much for others. And heck, his posts on this site actually make sense... =D>

cubscout you shoulda come back Ida bought you a cup of that journeys coffee after I splashed through the glider 8 grass

that lesuther dude is one top notch cookie - very grateful for his help. I'd still be stuck over there if'n it weren't for him - or maybe detouring up through southern wyomingland - which was dicey too

I'm glad to hear you made it home Soy. It only took you 9 days! I knew the crazy daisy was slow but that's really slow.

The scenery was really neat. Golfers on the green just miles from fresh snow. Only in Colorado.

And Utah! I've skied in the morning in Park City and played golf in the afternoon 20 minutes away in Salt Lake... 8) 8)

Will there be another Jamboree in May this year? Does anyone have the dates?
