I will be there Friday night weather permitting. I have a wedding Saturday at 4 and I need to be on the road by 12 to get there. So morning fog is not an option. No good IFR departures out of McKinzie Bridge.

Unlike some people when I say I will be somewhere you can bet I will be there. Now that being said watch something happen.

This will be the last trip till the end of October or the first of November when I get back from Africa. The M7 engine gets opened up September 14th if it is the cam and it probably is, 3-5 weeks down time.

I am not sure if i'll make it. I know for sure I won't make it on friday but maybe on saturday night...if there are people there! I have to figure out the whole tent thing due to some traveling and an Angel flight that I have.

I'm planing on coming up Saturday to stay the night. Lots of smoke in the lower valley and especially up the McKenzie drainage, so fly smart.

I'm concerned about the wind direction and forecast. ADDS and NWS puts the smoke on us and drives the fire that way. If the 020 15G25 materializes it could be ugly.

Weather Underground has the wind out of the north and west. Probably incorrect.
