Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Johnson Creek/Clear Creek

Did they pull the whole motor out of that RV? It's been sitting there for quite a while now. I look at it every morning on the webcam. Glad to got to spend some time in Po-Dunk Idaho. Clear Creek is about 10 minutes or less by air from the little logging community I grew up in. Been extra homesick this summer when I see pics of that area. I haven't seen a tree or anything cept brown for over 2 months now.

Hi Joey: hope like is as good as it can be considering your location. There is an engine is in it. I don't know if it is the same one with the prop strike.

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Madras, Or

Using the heck out of the M7. Yesterday changed oil and filter and put the 29s back on.

Last night blasted over the Cascades to Madras hangout and drink some wine with friends.

Back in Troutdale now for the daughters couples wedding shower. That is reason 1 why I'm not at JC right now.

Reason 2 I'm not in JC now. Tomorrow we are taking my wife's boss on her 1st small airplane flight. Back to Madras Sun-Tue. Madras is where her boss grew up.

Summer is in full swing here in the PNW, it is short so we jam as much into it as we can.

Cheers...Rob

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Will fly for food. Central Or

I'm headed to or Madras vacation home today after lunch today. I was wondering if anyone wants to meet up for a food run. I'll have my wife with me. Starting Sunday August 4th I am open for Sunday, dinner. Monday breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Tuesday, breakfast.

I was thinking about Sunriver, Bend, Hood River or Madras. I have a van at Madras. We have two restaurants down by Lake Billy Chinook and Lake Simtustus. Plenty of good places in town. Or we can grab some food at Safeway and head up to the house and bar b q on the deck. Million dollar views on the deck.

I'll see any replies here or:

call or text **5*zero*3*seven*2*zero*1*nine*1*seven** include your screen name too.

Why do you always have to do this while I'm working? I'll be off Wednesday but it looks like you'll be gone by then. Maybe I'll catch you next time you're in town.

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Will fly for food. Central Or

Hey Rob, I missd you by *that* much! My son and I were checking out the ramp while you were talking to RR- he was parked next to my Stinson. I didd't want to interrupt anything since I figured everyone had places they needed to be (myself included), but it was cool to see your plane and watch you takeoff! 8)

I'll have to check these forums more often!

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Uncle, turn the fire hose off

Holy crap Martha: Bad rain and wind storm going on here in western Oregon and I guess Washington too. It was nice in Madras. Warm and just a couple showers. Just drove back to Troutdale over Mt Hood to the wet side of the Cascades. It was coming down so hard I had to slow to 40-50 or I couldn't keep it on the road.

I'm crying foul. Where is my Indian summer?

Man I hear ya Pat!

Models are in fairly good agreement that a 980to 985mb surface low
will move close to the southwest Washington coast Sunday afternoon
and evening...with hurricane force gusts possible along the coast
and...depending on the track...gusts over 50 miles per hour possible in the
Willamette Valley and pdx/Vancouver metropolitan Sunday afternoon and
evening.

The stronger winds Sunday may result in more orographic
enhancement/rain shadowing...but an additional 1.5 to 4 inches of
rain is very likely.
