You were on the ranch for two miles today? Next time let me know, maybe we can do the Santa Fe again.

Hi Chance: I wish I could hang with all my good bcp Reno friends. But this trip is dedicated to the family. I think I'll show them Virginia City on or way to Yosemite. I am already looking forward to the air races. We had fun didn't we.

Cheers

You can rent a car at the airport in Mariposa, we did this a few weeks ago and drove into Yosemite and had a good time. If you arrive early and want some food before you drive to the park the Sugar Pine Cafe in town has good breakfast.

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: March 2013 socal

Sorry I missed u flynengnr. This is a whirlwind trip. Not much time to visit.

Yesterday my friend M7flyer had me over for a day of canyon surfing on his street bikes. The BMW R1150 is sweet!

Many thanks bro!

Tomorrow morning is the 20 hour trip home. Just stops for gas and food.

This trip has been to short.

Some of the possible happenings. Street bike ride with M7flyer, flying to Giant Rock, Bacon Strip, Chicken Strip, Lake Wohlford food run, Hemet Ryan food run.

For sure flying to Glendale Muni, Az. Doing the Barrett-Jack Collector Car Auction January 13-20.

While in Az. probably hit Red Creek and Payson

The boy and his friends may come down with the truck, trailer, quads, street bikes. If he does we'll go out to the Glamis sand dunes for a few days.

Anyway hope to see some of you guys from the area too. Last year I had the pleasure of spending time with some of you boys. Rob, Brian, Dale, Gary, Scott, Ken, Russ, Dave, Little Pat, Big Pat, Dee, Sandy. Don't know how much I'll do or who I'll see, but it should be fun.

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Cascade Locks

The Troutdale chapter of Oregon Pilots Association adopted Cascade Locks airport awhile back. Today we did some work there. I was mowing the grass. I didn't have time to do it all, so I did this in the un mowed part.

Nice penmanship, Rob. That takes some mowing experience.

Speaking of which, I'm amazed at how precisely done some of these corn mazes are. There's one I've seen (near Snohomish WA) which is in the shape of a map of washington, including highways-- correct in every detail as far as I can see from above.

OregonMaule Destinations: Pacific City Lunch/Camp?

This Saturday/Sunday May 4th and 5th . Lisa and I will be around for a meet and greet. Giving tours of the new cottage.

The wx is suppose to be phenomenal! 70*-75* but windy. Out of the north 14G22 Sporty you might say. Watch the sinker over the approach. If you don't like the way it feels go around. Sooner or later you will be over the runway when the wind dies down. NO FOG! in the forecast.

Lunch at noon, Saturday Fat Freddy's north end of 14-32 across the street.

The cottage is at 35685 Cindy Lane 97135. If you park at the south ramp (AKA grass) it is 2-3 minute walk. Stay out of the ditch, it is 8' deep. Of course you can park in the regular area too.

There will be cold drinks and snacks. If anyone wants to camp lets do it. We have electricity, bathroom, firewood, and chairs. No water yet. Dinner will be at The Sportman Pub. This place is my personal favorite.

Lisa and I will be there till we decide to call it a night. We are sleeping at her aunts house. We will be back early for coffee and breakfast. We will be there all day Sunday. I have the Jeep too.
