I got the email! Good looking camp spots. Close to Alamo Lake. That has been a breakfast stop every year.
I will let you know by text message if I can make it. My first obligation is to help my buddy get his car to the auction, since I'm staying at his house for free.

Tomorrow I head for Pleasant Valley Arizona. I may have to go to Las Vegas international to pick up my buddy who is flying in commercial.

All safe in Arizona. The Santa Anna winds never did materialize, it was a fabulous flight. Now we are off to the Barrett Jackson opening-night Gala. Free booze free food and a concert by Bret Michaels, I mean free if you have a bidder pass ha ha ha.

Grasstripilot i'm still working on the camping angle for Tuesday, I have to talk to my buddy tonight and see how are going to get the car to the auction.

Cory didn't show I'm going to check the two strips he said he was going to camp that right now. It's not like him not to show. Although I was supposed to be here at 9 AM and I didn't get here till 915.

Someone might check his spot page if he has one. Hard for me to do on the iPhone out here in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for meeting up anyway. It was good to briefly catch up. Also thanks for coming to look for me...and for jumping on here to ask for help. This site, and the good people on here, are invaluable! I'll post some pics in my AZ thread.

I'll be back down on Monday. Going to camp at either Grand Gulch Mine or Red Creek with Adam. I forgot to ask when you head back. If you are around, let's try again. If not, if anyone else wants to meet up, let me know!

Flying back to Oregon today. Wheels up close to 0630 MST SPOT will be on. This is my flight plan.

On the way to Las Vegas Nevada. Almost to Boise Idaho to make a stop at Cabela's then get back on the road. Two nights in Las Vegas and then on to Palm Desert.
