Yes you may, but sorry I don't know, the overhead door was bundled into the bid for the building. The builder substituted a wall mount jack screw drive operator for the typical ceiling mount operator. Something about the ceiling operator might be slightly within 5 feet of engine or fuel tanks of my 180. The electrical code is making it almost impossible to park an airplane in the hangar. I'm still not sure where the outlets will be placed inside the hangar.

Coondawg, could you show us a picture of the inside of the door? How do they reinforce a 40' door so is does not sag in the middle?

Coondawg, that's a nice looking door (and floor by the way). what brand of door is it and why did you go with the role up as apposed to the standard bifold?

Thanks. It's a Midland commercial unit with an industrial jack shaft drive operator. I like the look and function of this door. The hangar shares space in a building used for a commercial mead winery and I want my customers to see a clean, sharp appearing building with the overhead door closed, or I can open the door to display the 180J and the door will be tucked nicely overhead inside the building.

The floor coating is a polyurea base coat with a polyaspartic top coat. The embedded chips are vinyl. The coating is similar to an epoxy but is far more durable. It has the look of a polished stone floor. The cost was bundled into the general contractors bid and I don't have a breakout.
