Congrats! It will be nerve wracking but a huge thrill. I was stunned by the solo performance on my first flight. It was fun following your build

Good Luck

Thanks guys! I'm excited for sure but also very anxious about the first flight. I didn't sleep a wink Tuesday night because the next step is to fly the thing...

CONGRATULATIONS!! Awesome job! It sure doesn't seem like it has been very long since you started the project, but i guess time is going faster for us as we age. Good luck on the first flight!!!

Flew it yesterday. Unfortunately we didn't get any quality video and since there isn't video or pics it didn't happen...

It appears that we have a significant oil leak through the alternator that only appears when the engine is running. We pulled the alternator, check the seal and replaced the gasket but it still leaks..significantly. Also have low oil pressure. Once we get that sorted we'll get some decent video.

Here is a poor quality video of my dad taking it for a spin.

Congratulations! That is so cool. It sure sounded nice, nothing sweeter than the Sound of the North.

Looking forward to more.

Thanks guys!

Here’s a low quality video my mom took of the very first takeoff. Yes, I was one of those kids with the loud mom on the sideline.
