I absolutely had to check out two building sites I'll be lifting trusses at in a few days, this is a free service I offer my customers at no extra charge. Both were in nearby rural areas, both were told "if I'm in the area beforehand I'll stop by."
First place: this was a no brainer!

The rancher was doing something involving grain dust and dangerous looking equipment with augers, thus the mask. He didn't hear me taxi up 50' away, much less the fly over.

Second place:another tough one

Besides actually helping smooth the way for when I arrive with the crane, they'll get a picture of their place. Doing this in a way that is no big deal, not scaring anyone or stopping the cows from milking or the hens from laying, is the challenge. Around here anyway it is no big deal, just another piece of equipment, being quiet really helps I think as it just seems more benign to the uninitiated.
