I've got another solar job for a past customer who wants another system along the other 2 arrays (about 3500 watts ea., grid tied, ), a 45 min drive or a 20 min. flight over the mountains. I had to meet with the excavator, he drove, I flew
Flew out to visit a friend of mine, Tom Reedy at his place. Tom is another Champ driver, and also has a Pietenpol Air Camper he built from scratch. He builds his own propellers too!
Here's me with my junker
The strip is about 900' give or take. Not real difficult, other than the typical fences and power lines on both ends and it's 5700' msl....

Sounds cool, but not making it out today, either. I'm going to work on some writing assignments (anyone want to write a paper on Army force development for me?? hahaha) today and see if I can get out there early tomorrow.
In his book, "Mig Pilot," Belenko asks his instructor about the F-15, "Comrade Instructor, this airplane can kill five of us before we can shoot it down"? "Yes, Comrade Belenko," says the instructor, "that is why we send six of you."
The Air Force started putting Vulcan cannons on the F-4 when they figured out only one in six of it's high dollar rockets were successful.

Texada. We just leased land at the airport there, and have a cabin down in gillies bay. Everybody we know from chilliwack is buying cabins up there because of my dad, telling everyone how great of an island it is.. It's cheaper than any of the other islands because it is 1 ferry too far for most people.. But it's only an hour and 15 minutes away by plane.

I can't believe his ultra fast powerful clean-as-a-whistle so light you can barely stall it Savage Cub is still not sold. You guys keep teaming up against him and will not buy his plane. It's not right. He needs a fair shake.
I didn't take the time to post that ultra smooth powerfully riveting video you shot of my landing Evan, but trust me guys it was really artistic.
