Where did you fly today?
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Hello all. Long time lurker from the great, white, north here. Just wanted to show how for a couple days a year when the ice lifts, my 150 gets to pretend it's a bush plane!

Washington and Katahdin haven’t shed their winter coats (April 24) but the PK factory is humming

Oh I know it's real. I did my training in Steinbach. Live in Hythe Alberta.

Welcome! I trust you were presented with the official bush pilot certification upon arrival?

Wait...I’m confused. Great Alaskan Bush Company is a place to drink and sit on ones hands due to close proximity of T&A.

Great picture Hozer! That sure is fun flying off that kind of ice on tires. I have flown over Flin Flon many times.

Been flying my new Carbon Cub everywhere getting my 40 hours in. What an aircraft. Im 6'3" tall and she fits great and I'm still comfortable after yet another 10 plus hour day in the saddle. Also feels pretty good cruising around at 100mph with 31's on burning 7-8g an hour.

If it looks smooth, it might be. If it looks rough, it is...www.bigtirepilot.com ...www.alaskaheliski.com
Very cool, welcome to the fast low fuel burn world! How big are your CC tanks? What does she weigh?
Im surprised that the CC and the SQ spinners are the same height, I would have thought the SQ would have been taller than the CC.

Surprised me to, but it think the thrust line change on the SQ drops the spinner where as the CC thrust line looks to be unchanged from the -18.

Did my 40 hours and now homeward bound! I'll start a new thread about the Carbon Cub vs BCSC Rev2. Both very different.
