No metal belly pan on ours.

We were considering going the CF route but decided to use wood instead.

Any chance I could ask for photo of gascolator installed I’m in process of covering a 79ECA and these forums are a world of help, I’m also replacing firewall from prior repair before me.

I think there's a photo of it somewhere earlier in this thread already. I'll start looking.

See below for a picture of the gascolator installed in place

Aryana wrote:The only thing left on the fuselage is the main landing gear.

Firewall, instrument panel, brakes, and all the wiring got removed today so the fuselage can be fully redone.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Sorry I missed this and didn't reply sooner.

On the right side of the plane, access to the antennaImage

On the left side of the plane, access to the fuel lines and manifold.

Took some more time than expected to lay on the final coats of Eko-Fill. It's nearly as perfect as we can get it before final color goes on the fuselage and tail feathers.

These two photos taken 28 years apart. Steel tube and fabric work has been a lifelong hobby.

My hair went from my head to my chin in those three decades. LOL

Too funny. If you are anything like me you have difficulty understanding where those years went.

Love the project, it is coming together really well.
