Where did you fly today?
Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

A new friend took me for a spin is his IO-550 powered 180. Did a lap from Lake Hood to Bold strip and back. What an absolute blast!

Good spot to breakdown. It was like being at the parts store. Bolt sheared off that holds the tailwheel on. Luckily no damage! Working on a video of it all.
Oh no!! Was this during taxi, or takeoff/landing?

Just finishing my rollout on landing. Very slow speed. Got lucky.

Nice photo. Are you seeing that 8.5" of ice in South Central? It's been such a mild fall in interior I'm curious how the ice is running compared to an average year.

Sunday morning it was 10 degrees out making ice like crazy. Should have close to a foot by the coming weekend. Ice is better ths year without snow cover. Time wise about average, usualy good by Thanksgiving.
