Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

That was great, S-12! I'm on vacation back east in Virginia, taking friends up in my dad's little 150... The scenery isn't much, but flying is awesome regardless.

Visiting CA- trying to link up with RobW, but so far it hasn't worked out. Hasn't been a total loss however. Last shot taken just before the TFR took effect over game five.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Great pictures DP!

I got to fly to work the other day, and it saved a long drive. Having a direct line of sight from my place to the job site 38 miles away, versus a near 60 mile drive, made it a no brainer. =D>

I landed by the huge piles of manure, and felt oddly at peace, like I belonged there.

Great Saturday in the Idaho Backcountry. Johnson Creek was one of the few strips not covered in fog. 35degs at 8:30am.
Bruce Meadows waiting for the fog to lift. Sulfur Creek for Breakfast at 11:30. Then Indian Creek, Lower Loon, Flying-B and Solider Bar.
Great Day...

I flew over Lake Powell in Southern Utah last week, and then I made a video of it.

Re: Where did you fly today?

Wow, not many places to land in the event of an engine failure or other emergency. Cool video though. The low water level and what is exposed is interesting.

Gorgeous. I'm only 3 weeks from taking some of those pics myself. Looks like a beautiful day out.

Sometimes you have to fly high to afford to fly low...

Those pictures are of Denali, Alaska Range, and Mt Redoubt

Ain't that the truth!

I recognized the mountains hence I asked. Usually I get those views when flying Alaska Airlines.
