Anyone else going to be camping in Utah before heading up? I'll be leaving the 23 and will stay a couple nights in UT... most likely at Mineral Canyon/Mexican Mtn/Angel Point/ or Hidden Splinder.

We will be leaving CO/NE on or about that time and plan some time coming through Utah headed to JC but don't really have a definite schedule yet...may overnight at Salt Lake #2 to stay with my brother. An overnighter in Utah sounds good. Maybe get together later?

Does anyone know if the WiFi at Johnson Creek is active?

I need to figure how to configure my laptop before I come over.

Thanx

So, we are a few weeks out for the fly-in. We plan on being there on Friday afternoon. Just wondering if the potluck was still on the agenda for Saturday night so we can plan our food packing. We'll be ending a trip through the NW with the fly-in this year (See Northwest Gems post). Looking forward to seeing anyone that can make it. Who all is coming?

My wife and I plan to bring chile verde as we did last year. I believe the potluck is Saturday dinner.

When camping, there is no reason not to bring excellent food to eat. Ice chests are great for food and beer.
There is also no reason not to bring a woman for those of us who like women. Johnson Creek is an excellent place to bring a person for their first camping experience.

Let us have fun.

At least 3 airplanes that I know of from Medford are expecting to go. Fingers crossed for the weather.

If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

Same here Rob, I am stoked about this trip.
We will be there friday, Saterday and Sunday. It is not set in stone yet but we have talked about flying to 3 rivers on thursday afternoon and then on to JC Friday morning. Maybe we will see you along the way.
As fast as Your maule flys, if I leave 3 rivers a little ahead of when you leave TTD we might hit Joseph about the same time.

Cory and Everyone else,
We were wondering the same thing. Last year we kinda talked about it but nothing developed. So tell you what, Kitty and I will host a pot luck at the main fire ring area at seven O'clock PM on Saturday night the 27th of June. Every one that is on the field is invited including BCP's, BCAH's, care takers, and random aviators, even site administrators! Bring Food, Beverage, and tall tales to share with everyone. We'll eat, drink and be merry, followed by a community fire. May want to bring a chair.

P.S.: Galen, will you be there this year? (Sorry you got cut out of the picture Erwin)

With a little encouragement featured entertainment could include a Jig and a ditty by Coyote Ugly. Can someone find a watertank? =D>

Whata ya say Coyote Ugly?

Don't miss this!

Hi everybody. Mark that is what I like to see. Somebody take the bull by the horns. I'll be there wx permitting. Don't mess with the wx.

For those who like beer. I think we should all bring 1 micro brew from our local area. Then put them in a tub of ice. Then we take turns blindly pulling one one out. If you draw what you brought put it back draw again. All the alcohol I have drank in 2 1/2 years would fit in a coffee cup. I think I deserve 1 beer =D>

Hope for good wx. Rob
