Every now and then you have to hang up the bush pilot saddle and take your lady somewhere traditionally romantic and exotic. Spain and Morocco sounds like a great trip! Gary will always be here for you, margarita in hand.

Actually, if Cory got me a seat on the plane and a room, I'd bring the margs to Spain for him and Dee, and catch the spring flyin.

You know that if I could stow you away, I'd bring you. Dee is feeling the need to get away (just the two of us) since it has been a while. Since Adam was borne, we've hauled him everywhere with us including Europe a few times, Mexico, Caribbean, etc. So, we decided to do a destination/trip that we wouldn't do with kids due to location, activities, etc.

We will miss not being there though. I'll be sure to pass along the info to my friends that want to check this place out.

You let me know when you can to come down, we'll gather up some friends and go have our own party.

Don't think we will need any money in advance, that will be up to you, just a good head count is appreciated. Rooms will be available in the order spoken for. So, you got the first one =D> I haven't been over there this summer, so I don't know anything about them, but will probably get over there next month. Headed to Id. next week, then Austin. I'll go to Caveman possably on the way back from Austin, or shortly there after.

Need another room for Cavefest...Ed & his wife from SNY want to go. Could you please post the waiver as I seem to have lost it and the address where to send it. Thanks HC

We were excited to heli in Silverton — until we saw the bird. Looking like something your stoner uncle built in the garage out of four Meccano sets, a fish tank, and an AMC Pacer, this helicopter seats a pilot plus two only, making it a tricky vehicle, logistics-wise, when your group has 8 people in it. I had unexpected family commitments at the last minute which prohibited me from making the spring flyin, hopefully that won't happen this fall. Count me in.

Gary,

I'm assuming if we did a waiver for the springs fly-in that we do not need to accomplish another one, correct?

Bushwagon

I'm pretty sure they kept them on file. Rod mentioned it was ok to come back anytime w/o another waiver.

Re: Anyone interested in a fall flyin at Caveman Ranch???

my busiest time of year work wise but I'll make every effort to make this one... just got back from a driving vacation to Yellowstone and other parts of the west which included two nights at Moab. We drove down the colorado one day about 15 miles on a dirt road and came to the cutoff to Tangrila but didn't want to intrude since theres a sign saying private road or something to that effect.. Thanks again Gary for our night out with u in Durango... Great little town and the train ride was spectacular for a old train buff ...Butch

Re: Anyone interested in a fall flyin at Caveman Ranch???

Hey Gary, Don, and Butch,

Sounds like I just missed you guys at JC yesterday. I spoke to Don as he and another aircraft were descending into Sulpher Creek. I thought I heard Gary taking off from JC, but the transmission was weak. I figured I'd see him heading south bound, but he must have headed over to McCall because I didn't see or hear any more from him.

We were going to fly down to Austin today, but after 6 hours yesterday and me leaving Dee with the kids while I played, it's time to pay the piper.

Have fun every one and fly safe.
