BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

Doing some desk flying today and was watching this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scuTUnj_AJo

Has anyone done a ground up project with Bushliner and willing to share the experience, thoughts etc?

Many thanks...

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Thanks - sounds like customer gives ARC / Bushliner an A+ ..... can't get much better than that

I know Kyle. Nothing he's doing is cheap and he won't cut corners.

There were a few less than stellar reviews from a few years ago:

Re: BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

This is what Corefile wrote in the link that was provided in this thread:

"Yep - my plane is up ARC (they are the ones doing the Bushliner)…... But I have had a very good experience working with that crew up there.....I've been very happy with the work that has been completed, I've gone up to the shop a few times to check on the work as its progressed. I've been really happy with the communication as we discuss the different options of the rebuild, as some of the unexpected issues have popped up (what are the options, cost, improvements, etc) - we communicate daily about the plane - and its been there since October. So while I know some have their opinions - my experience has be A+"

Re: BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

Their work is probably just fine from following corefiles thread. That plane will be amazing. I don't even want to think about what the final bill will be, plus the 2 years down time though.

Re: BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

As far as I can tell they have not finished any project yet. Corefile's looks to be in the lead after 2 years

Re: BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

I haven’t updated my “engine is toast” thread for a while (I figured folks were getting tired of the long post). I’m still a satisfied Bushliner customer - I’m extremely pleased with the work and craftsmanship. It’s taken a little longer then I wanted - but I keep adding things as we go, so I’m partly to blame They are doing some very interesting things up there - they have some big plans for the future and I for one think it’s going to be great for those looking to fly, modernize, and maintain these aircraft.

I’m coming up on 2 years at Bushliner in Aug - we are getting close - the finish line is in sight.

Re: BUSHLINER EXPERIENCE

I go visit Bushliner quite often, I can definitely see there is a passion to make their work with perfection, those are full restorations, once finished, those planes will be better than when they left the factory.
The attention to detail is impressive.

His proto-bushliner 170B (same one in the photo above) is currently listed on Skywagons.com.

I'm surprised that he would sell that airplane to skywagons.com or have them broker it, instead of selling it himself.
If it's all the description says it is, seems like it would almost sell itself.

The bigger question is why he would want to sell this airplane ? It would seem to me this plane would have incredible sentimental value to him.

For a quarter of a million dollars it will require a special kind of buyer.
