Wolf’s actually using two words where two hundred and twenty two are more appropriate.
Del Air STC with A1A. The engine dyno’d at just under 200 hp and with the MT, she climbs like a raped ape.
The 170B has bigger gear, Dessers, dbl puck breaks, baby bush, sportsman/vg’s, BAS tail pulls and harnesses, etc…
The panel has AV-30s, GNS430, 796, SL40, a CGR combo and a TailbeaconX, along with all new wiring, klixon 7277 and Tyco switch breakers. We installed a split master with a TCM switched ignition so its a bit more modern… lots of attention to detail and advantage taken with Garmin discrete inputs etc…
Interior is set up for exploration with an ext baggage, FA Dodge jump, cargo nets, and a ton of tiedown points and ROK straps.
FWF is totally new incl a light weight starter and high output alt etc etc…
We re-rigged the bird and she is a joy to fly; hammering it… he’s done over 20 hrs of training in the last 4 days.
He’s heading back to Europe tomorrow, but will be back to take the bird on a 6 week tour later in Aug. he’s a bit to humble to ask himself, but he would love a list of BCP folks to visit/camp with around the US. (Gentleman’s adventure style)
Hopefully when he catches his breath and recovers from me barking instruction, he’ll take some time to share more of his thoughts.
Congrats Wolf!
