I remember seeing big ones used to run agricultural irrigation pumps in the central valley of California back in the 50's and early 60's. You know, before electricity.

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Lunch Pacific City

Glad you're (apparently) getting some decent weather down there. It's been foggy & low ceilings around Puget Sound for the last week and I'm getting sick of it. Kind of afraid to get too far from home for too long, for fear of the weather closing in. Not the end of the world to get stuck somewhere but a major PITA.

11 friends flew into Pacific City today. The wx was outstanding, 67* and no wind. It was beautiful flying over the fog. ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Re: OregonMaule Destinations: Spring break

I haven't been on bcp much, but I'm here in la Quinta, 30miles south of Palm Springs. Would love to go flying or dining or whatever if you're in the area. Been flying out of Thermal. Let me know cause golfing and flying seem to be taking up much of my life. Cheers, john
