Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Re: Where did you fly today?

Well I finally got out and did some fun flyin. Left about 10 mAM, got backjust after dark=Great Day

Stopped at Mex. Hat. Was there a couple weeks ago, gettin kinda over grone with tumbleweeds and other crap. So dug that stuff up and had several quick bonfires. Always like big hot fires. :D =D> Image

Then went over to Monuement Valley/Gouldings for a piece of some of the best chocolate cake in the SW.

Then up to Nokai Dome for a photo shute. Little snow, little mud, great views

Then went down to the San Juan, checked out Zahns Camp, still got some posts up the middle of the runway:evil:

I flew to Pueblo today with a student in our 182RG. The plane has a Robertson STOL kit with fences. I love that plane. Oh, the steak breakfast burrito smoothered in homemade green chili at the Spitfire Grill is highly recommended. They even have a choice of mild, medium, or hot now. The hot rocks =D>

Re: Where did you fly today?

Nate and I headed out for some fun today. Nate's friend Nick tagged along too and had a good time. We went to KLIC to gas up and saw Jim's plane there, he sent me a message that they were eating some food in Limon, next time we'll have to join them. From there we went north and then rounded back towards home base. But, not without stopping at some friends of my folks for some A+ pasture flying. Beautiful day and too much fun. 8)

I'm jealous, all I did today was dream of flying the Stinson while I worked on it!

Re: Where did you fly today?

Flew to Alliance NE today where I met Bushwagon. Lounged around, went to breakfast, had dinner with a cousin and generally did nothing. Gusty winds on the ground but smooth flying. Need a day like this once in a while.
