Where did you fly today?

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Re: Where did you fly today?

Look forward to the trip report Allen. I bet that was spectacular. Talkeetna is a fun place, isn't it?

Hammer, you're really capturing some terrific scenes lately.

Re: Where did you fly today?

When I got the 172, I thought I'd use it for some training, getting my IFR, and then sell it for something faster. But the more I fly it, the more I like it.

I don't think we're going to get an ice runway this year.

I finished my conversion on to the Maule yesterday and today I flew it home. Started at Rand Airport (FAGM) and stopped at home, Himeville 2hours later.

Re: Where did you fly today?

I was in San Diego for work over the weekend and managed to wrangle another ride with my buddy who owns a Yak 52. He let me have some stick time in a 3-ship formation with a CJ and a T-34. We hardly had any fun at all. =P~

Had a good flight yesterday, and checked another aircraft of my bucket list.

Thus one's for you, Jimmy!

Looks like the chin bubble of a Huey. I never looked down through there. I'm afraid of heights.

Ok, now you are making me homesick. Can't wait to get up there in May to my new Summer life. WooHoo!

Re: Where did you fly today?

I FINALLY got to take the storch out for a night in the bush to have a general play around! and what a blast it was. I took it out to my "little Italy" strip in drake, North NSW last night and met up with a few mates for a play session

Instead of sharing a bunch of small videos and a thousand pictures I did up one of those quick little videos on you phone where it just throws it all together so enjoy!

Looks like a good time. If I didn't know better I could easily think that part of the world was southeast Ohio! Makes me long for summer.

My neighbors are doing some clearing down by the river and I got a neat picture of their dozer (at least I think it's neat)

Re: Where did you fly today?

Had an impromptu get together at the ranch this weekend. I was able to finish guiding some hunters a day early so had a great group of pilots from around the country that were playing in Big Bend over for a BBQ Friday night. Did some fun flying on Friday and Saturday. Think we had 7 taildraggers total show up and also a local buddy stop by in a 172. Good times [emoji2]
