If I had an empty 500 gallon tank, I'd definitely fill it up today.
No lie!!
Topped off at Castle and Cook at KPAE yesterday at $4.82 after Wa. Pilots Assn. discount. Still beats the Hell out of the $6+ we were paying shortly ago.

Emailed Vitus Marine to order avgas off the fuel barge... No price available...they asked how much I wanted. Depends on the price. Could be 500 gallons, a thousand...maybe more... Who barges Avgas into Dillingham, King Salmon and Bethel?

Delta Western does a lot of the Av fuel in and around Bristol Bay, Chain, and Pribs. Everts Air Fuel can do tanker loads sometimes cheaper per gallon than a barge.

Stop whining and get down to Home Despot and buy a handful of gas cans, ASAP! It's the principal of the thing...

I'd have to buy 30-40 gallons in plastic containers "just because". Hehehe

I was going to fly down to Bend on Sunday just to buy some fuel. Well I called to see if the price was for real. It was real, $2.86 and it just went up this morning to $4.25. Crap I missed it.

Has anyone found a FBO willing to sell gas and "Store" it for a year for a per-gallon fee? Might be worth locking in the $3.99 prices available these days.

$3.80/g over in platte valley boys (18V). We're living in the good ole days again. I hope it holds out through the summer, and I think it will continue to drop.

I was paying $3.55/gal at Bay City for the past few months, 2 hangars over from the fuel pump, as good as it gets for an airport. Then they sucked 600 gallons of rusty mud out of our 8,000 gal tank and red tagged the whole system. Now I'm hauling gas cans out there paying $4/gal while they build a new pump, 100 yds from my hangar.

The FBO who has the fuel concession at Jefferson 0S9 came up with that idea a while back-- "pre-paying" for X amount of fuel at a certain price. Don't know if anyone took him up on it or not. I burn mogas so I wasn't interested. Been paying 2.89 - 3.00 the past few months. Never mind about going down more-- if it stays there I'll be happy.

Cessna Skywagon -- accept no substitute!
Time to revive this one.
5.99 at PAGS and available. The flight of the Tac Aero/Cubcrafters guys that came through earlier in the week prompted the gas supplier to barge in some iso containers and get his new truck filled. They didn’t take a lot, but he is appreciative of it.
Tell all your friends that come up the Coast to AK!
