Got it. I was suffering under the illusion that 'size maters'.![]()
It might be bigger than 3 gal by a gal or so.....
There is no plugging it in.
When I was a kid at homemade ice cream parties, part of the fun was taking turns on the crank.
So, maybe I'm still a kid at heart.
That's not all bad,![]()

I was not planning on JC this year. But now I see an ice cream chalenge. Take a look at the dasher in the electric freezer and the one in the old style hand crank. The electric is single action and the hand crank is double action. Double action makes better ice cream. More work but you get what you work for.
Whit Mountain is my favorite.
The secret to the White Mountain Ice Cream Makers is the triple-motion dasher. At the very center or the makers is a unique twin-blade dasher. The most center blade turns clockwise while the other blade turns counter clockwise, which are in a canister that also turns clockwise. This triple-motion action mixes and folds the ingredients completely creating smooth and creamy homemade ice cream.

I'll be home the weekend before this fly in. Maybe I'll have to take a spin up to JC and leave a "Reserved for Burson's Mall" sign in the grass up there.
